OLEDs…

UK’s Polymervision to release first flexible OLED device with an Italian designer.
[OLEDs are coming… and beyond the cool factor of thin screens with excellent resolution / wide viewing angles- I think OLEDs are important b/c they might help to explode the number of display screens in our world. While most consumers pay attention to ‘big screens’ - I think the real business opportunity is in putting smaller screens in places outside of our living room. On a slightly related note -
Italy is a force in the world of new user interfaces– it is always nice to explore the project at the Interaction Design Institute.]
